Brian Soto is an Associate Attorney who joined the Maria Jones Law Firm in early 2019. Along with handling immigration cases, such as: Adjustment of Status and Consular Process, Mr. Soto assists the Firm’s criminal department with all Criminal Defense work.
Prior to joining the firm, attorney Soto experienced a few legal affairs of his own. This experience led to Mr. Soto interest of becoming a lawyer. Mr. Soto acknowledges that even good people can succumb to the pressures and temptations of life. He truly believes that every person accused of a crime deserves the best defense, and the chance to prove that their accusations do not define them as a person!
Mr. Soto’s mother was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba. Although she naturalized many years before his birth, Brian witnessed first-hand the traumatic effects caused by immigrating to a foreign country. In 1961, at the age of seven, his grandmother immigrated to the United States without her parents during the Pedro Pan operation. The passion of Brian to assist immigrants with their immigration process and criminal defense work not only comes from being the son of an immigrant, but also from previously living on both sides of the border.
Brian experiences are the driving force behind his passion for providing his clients with the best legal representation that money can buy. Brian promises to work diligently for his clients during this stressful period of their life and always be there for them when they need him the most.
